Recent ongoing tensions between the US and Iran have raised the suspicion of war between both the countries. A few days ago, two US ships were attacked on their way to middle-east coast, for which the US allegedly blamed Tehran.

The Islamic Republic News Agency said on Thursday, that a US drone was shot down when it had entered the Iranian airspace near the Kouhmobarak district in southern Iran’s Homozgan Province.

A US Central command spokesperson said, “No US drone was flying in Iranian airspace today.” according to sources.

There was a reported shootdown of RQ-4 Global Hawk comes after the US military previously alleged Iran of firing a missile on another drone last week. which was a response to the reported attack on two oil-tankers near the Gulf Of Oman.

The US openly blamed Iran for the ship attacks, while Tehran has denied it from the day it has happened.

These attacks are traced back to a nuclear deal with world power a year ago when Donald Trump took the decision of withdrawing Iran’s name from the list.

The White House has separately said that they have seen the reports of a missile strike on Saudi Arabia amid a campaign targetting the kingdom by Yemen’s Iranian-allied Houthi rebels.

Iran has recently quadrupled its low-enriched uranium production and has threatened to boost its enrichment closer to weapons-grade levels, which is again a strategy to pressurize Europe for new terms to the 2015 deal.

In recent weeks, the US has sped an aircraft carrier to the Mideast and deployed additional troops to tens of thousands already in the region. All these miscalculations have raised tensions between Iran and the US, which also suggests that both the countries could get into an open conflict, after 40 years of Tehran’s Islamic revolution.

Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency has cited the paramilitary revolutionary guard, has identified the drone as RQ-4 Global Hawk. When asked to the US Command Spokesperson he replied, “No US drone was flying over Iranian territory.”
